January Boxy and Chill...

I think it's cute that they're doing a theme this year. I'm not sure if this is continued from last year. I don't recall the boxes having a theme but I'm loving it so far. This month's theme is "Boxy and Chill" and this is what was in my box...

Tatcha Luminous Skin Dewey Face Mask $24

These masks are beautiful. Made with Japanese anti-aging super foods like green tea, rice and algae, they are designed for maximum absorption. I like to apply them fresh out of the shower, while I'm doing my hair. Just 20 minutes nourishes the skin from within and restores its health and radience.

Briogeo Roscaro Milk Reparative Leave in Conditioning Spray $12

As a hairdresser, I've pretty much tried every leave in on the market. So that being said, I didn't find this one was anything special. It works great as a detangler or just to throw in your purse or gym bag. I like it better for day 2 hair, to refresh and defuzz my style. I'd give it 3 stars if I had to. It's not a miracle leave in, but it is a really nice one.

Ofra Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick $20

This lipstick has a really nice rich colour, and smooth creamy texture. Dries matte and lasts through the day. This particular shade is a little dark for my taste but I've been pairing it with a nude shade for a really great ombrè look.

Billion Dollar Brows Universal Brow Pencil $18

I found this pencil to be really soft and difficult to use. The shade was not right for me to begin with but when I apply this pencil to my brows, it's almost as if it's been melted. I end up with too much product on my face and it ends up looking terrible. I love the built in spoolie, it makes this a perfect 2in1 pencil to stick in your overnight bag. I'm disappointed it wasn't better quality because I'm in love with the design.

Tarte Limited Edition Rainforest of the Sea Highlighting Eyeshadow Palette $36

When I first opened this pallet I didn't think I liked it, but it is quickly becoming one of my favorites! Colors are warm and super pigmented. They reflect the light beautifully and are perfect for any natural eye look. My favorite shade is "treasure" it looks gorgeous as a highlight under the brow bone or in the corner of the eye for an extra sparkle.
